A ceremonial dagger with straight double-edged blade and scabbard, both richly decorated with scrolling floral arabesques in relief. The hilt terminates in a characteristic T-shaped pommel and is ornamented with dense vegetal motifs. The scabbard retains its blue velvet covering and applied metal mounts with matching floral decoration. Such daggers were produced throughout the Ottoman, Persian, and Caucasian regions as symbols of rank, status, and ceremonial dress.
