A beautifully carved stone shrine featuring Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, standing in the central position, exuding a serene and benevolent presence.

Guanyin is flanked by two attendant figures, possibly disciples or celestial beings, symbolizing her role as a compassionate savior. Backed by a mandorla or a flame-like halo, emphasizing her divine status.

The base of the shrine includes lions.

Traces of red pigment remain on the surface, hinting at its once richly painted details. This small shrine would have been used for personal devotion or as part of a larger altar, making it a significant artifact of Buddhist spiritual practice.

As a deity of mercy, Guanyin is revered for her ability to hear the cries of the world and offer salvation.

A tree, which is commonly associated with natural settings in Buddhist art, symbolizing enlightenment under the Bodhi tree or a serene, divine realm.

The base of the shrine features inscriptions, likely in Chinese characters
