Huang Binhong is well versed in the history of Chinese art, he ever entered Si Chuan province to lecture, in more than half a year's time, he climbed Enmei, toured Qing cheng, crossed Jia jiang, arrived in Wanxian County, and then raft east, explored Wushan twelve peaks, viewed strange mountains and different waters all over, the he suddenly understood nature’s power. After returning, he created this painting.
