Cast in bronze, the deity Vishnu is depicted seated in lalitasana upon a tiered pedestal, accompanied by Lakshmi seated upon his left thigh. Vishnu wears a tall cylindrical kirita-mukuta and elaborate jewellery, his principal right hand raised in abhaya mudra while the remaining attributes are now lost. Lakshmi is shown elegantly seated beside him, holding an attribute in her right hand and wearing a conical crown. The figures are rendered with elongated proportions, almond-shaped eyes, and restrained modelling characteristic of South Indian bronze sculpture of the late medieval period.

The reverse reveals the simplified treatment of the figures and throne structure, typical of small devotional bronzes intended for private worship. Traces of handling wear and a rich dark brown patina have developed across the surface, highlighting the refined casting and devotional use of the image over centuries.

The iconography represents Vishnu, the Preserver, together with his consort Lakshmi, goddess of prosperity and good fortune. Images of the divine couple were widely venerated throughout South India and served as household shrines as well as temple icons.
