Porcelain, finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue. The centre decorated with a stylised floral bouquet issuing from pierced rockwork, surrounded by scattered sprigs within a double-line border. The cavetto divided into alternating panels of flowering branches and diaper-patterned reserves, the gently lobed rim moulded with shallow fluting. The reverse sparsely painted with flowering sprays and encircled by a double-line border, the recessed base with a central sketch mark.

Mounted with later European silver fittings, probably 18th–19th century, indicating early Western appreciation and use as a decorative or devotional object.

This refined dish is characteristic of Kangxi-period blue and white porcelain, distinguished by the clarity of the cobalt, fluid brushwork and balanced compositional scheme. Such offering plates were produced both for the domestic Chinese market and for export, and were frequently adapted in Europe with metal mounts.
