Ink and colour on paper, each painting mounted as a vertical hanging scroll, depicting expansive mountainous landscapes corresponding to the four seasons. The compositions show mist-shrouded peaks, rivers and lakes, scholar’s dwellings, pine trees, flowering branches, and migrating birds, rendered in a refined and lyrical brushwork inspired by classical literati traditions.

Each scroll is inscribed in Chinese calligraphy to the upper section, with poetic references to the seasonal atmosphere, and signed Zhong Sanyun (仲三云). The paintings are harmoniously balanced, using soft washes of blue, green, and earth tones, with subtle contrasts between winter austerity, spring blossoms, summer expanses, and autumnal foliage.

Mounted with patterned silk brocade borders and wooden roller ends, framed under glass.
