Standing Lotus-Bearer in slight tribhanga pose, attached to wooden base. The lower body is dressed in a thin cloth tied around the waist by a belt and fastened around the legs by a shawl. The cloth shows a delicately incised pattern of ornamental sprays and flowers. The chest is adorned with a necklace and the sacred thread, a broad bracelet and decorative armlet on the arms. The Bodhisattva's right hand lifted in abhaya mudra, the left holding the stem of the lotus flower. The face is calm and friendly-looking with downcast eyes and fine lips and nose. The curly hair is enclosed by a three-pointed tiara with small wings. From the back we can see the thin hairlines on the back of the head and the high chignon.
