Finely modelled as the jovial twin immortals He He Er Xian, shown standing closely together upon a pierced rocky base, each figure with a broad laughing expression symbolising harmony and marital bliss. One figure is depicted wearing a green robe decorated with incised floral scrolls and holding a lotus bud, while the other is shown bare-chested beneath a yellow robe with scrolling cloud motifs, holding a small cup and a lotus bloom. The figures are brightly enamelled in famille rose colours, the faces glazed in a soft ivory tone, the garments finely detailed with black outlining. The pierced base is decorated with applied floral bosses in polychrome enamels.

He He Er Xian, traditionally associated with concord, joy, and auspicious unions, were especially popular during the Qing dynasty, where such figures were often displayed in domestic interiors as symbols of harmony and happiness.
