Bronze figure of Buddha seated in vajrasana with the right hand lowered in bhumisparsha mudra (earth-touching gesture) and the left resting in the lap. The Buddha is shown with a serene expression, elongated earlobes, and a flame finial above the ushnisha, seated upon a monumental stepped throne. Rows of small attendant Buddha figures are arranged on the terraces below the principal image. Traces of black lacquer and gilding remain throughout, together with areas of wear and devotional handling.

The combination of lacquer, gilding, and the elaborate stepped throne populated with subsidiary Buddha figures is characteristic of Thai Buddhist bronzes of the Rattanakosin period.
