Finely carved stone figure of Green Tara seated in lalitasana upon a double lotus base. The goddess is shown with her right hand lowered in varada mudra and her left hand raised before the chest. She wears an elaborate crown, necklaces, armlets and flowing garments, and is framed by a mandorla decorated with floral motifs. A small elephant is depicted at the base beside the figure. Traces of age and weathering throughout.
