Lu Dong Bin is a scholar and poet living in the Tang Dynasty and he was elevated to the status of an immortal by Daoists and also known to belong to the group of deities known as the Eight Immortals. Here he is presented sitting casually on a pillow dressed in robes with a long goat beard and wearing a headdress. The statue is hollow.
