A bronze figure of the Buddha seated in bhūmisparśa mudrā (earth-touching gesture), the left hand resting in meditation on the lap, the right hand reaching down to call the earth to witness. The Buddha is shown seated cross-legged on a plain, rectangular pedestal.

The face is full and rounded, with a calm expression beneath arched brows. The elongated earlobes frame the head, which is surmounted by a tall conical ushnisha — a distinctive feature of Burmese bronzes of this period. The robe clings closely to the body in diagonal folds, leaving the right shoulder bare, another characteristic of Burmese casting traditions.

Traces of original gilding are visible across the surface, enhancing the devotional aura of the piece and attesting to its ritual use. The compact proportions, solid casting, and simple rectangular base are typical of Burmese 15th century work, clearly differentiating it from the more elaborate bases and flame-like ushnishas of Thai bronzes, or the heavier modeling of Khmer sculpture.
