Finely cast and fire-gilt bronze figure of the Medicine Buddha seated in vajraparyankasana upon a double-lotus base. The left hand is held in dhyana mudra and supports a medicine bowl, while the right hand is lowered in varada mudra. The Buddha is dressed in a monastic robe falling elegantly across the left shoulder and decorated with finely incised borders. The face displays the serene expression characteristic of the Zanabazar tradition, with elongated eyes, gently smiling lips and long pendulous earlobes. The hair is rendered in finely detailed curls highlighted with blue pigment and surmounted by an ushnisha. The sealed base retains a painted vajra emblem.
