The circular mirror cast in relief with a central knop surrounded by concentric registers. The main field decorated with the Eight Trigrams (Bagua) arranged around the centre, interspersed with archaistic motifs and stylised characters, all enclosed by finely notched borders.

The reverse with a dark, mottled patina showing areas of malachite encrustation and burial accretions, consistent with age. The polished side now entirely oxidised.
