Mandorla of elaborate open-work with various figures and ornaments. The main body is created by a gate carrying the circular mandorla, altogether surrounded by a dynamic composition of mystical creatures, deities and symbols. The gate has ornamental incisions, the mandorla on the top is flanked by lying lotus flowers. Next to the pillars of the gate starting from the bottom is a flower, a flying angel-like torso, followed by a ball of flames, topped by a warrior on a horse-like creature swinging a club or sword above his head. On top of the gate is a makara with open mouth, the tail embracing a ball of flames. The winding, scaled body of a snake or dragon follows, leading to the center of the mandorla. Two torsos extend from there, the three-headed hood covering each devotee who are holding one hand up high with the wheel of dharma. On top of them stands Garuda with the feet and wings of a bird, the torso and head of a man, his arms spread wide and his head backed by a flaming mandorla. The mandorla is attached to a plinth, the back shows heavy patina. This was most likely the mandorla for the Hindu god Vishnu.
