The deep bowl is finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a continuous interior scene depicting Daoist Immortals (xian) gathered in a rocky landscape beneath pine trees, some holding attributes associated with longevity and transcendence. The exterior decorated with further landscape and figural elements, the rim bordered by a classic diaper and blossom band. The recessed base with a neatly finished footring, unmarked.
