A finely potted stoneware dish with gently rounded sides rising from a short, neatly cut foot ring. The interior is covered with a lustrous lavender-purple glaze, suffused with softly pooling areas of bluish-green and turquoise tones, creating an abstract, cloud-like effect characteristic of Jun-type wares. The glaze thins attractively at the rim, revealing the warm buff body beneath, while the exterior is similarly glazed, stopping neatly above the foot.

The underside shows a well-defined foot ring with areas of kiln exposure and characteristic glaze contraction, consistent with Northern Chinese stoneware production of the late Song to early Yuan period. The subtle crackle, speckling, and variegated coloration reflect the high-temperature firing and copper-influenced glaze chemistry admired in Jun wares.
