Finely cast bronze head of the Buddha, depicted with a serene and meditative expression, the eyes downcast in quiet contemplation. The face is softly modelled with gently arched brows, elongated nose, and full lips forming a subtle, compassionate smile. The elongated earlobes reflect the traditional iconography of the Buddha, symbolising renunciation of worldly wealth.

The hair is arranged in tightly coiled snail-shell curls, surmounted by a prominent ushnisha, representing spiritual wisdom and enlightenment. Traces of original gilding remain visible, particularly along the facial features and hairline, enhancing the refined modelling and lending warmth to the dark bronze surface.

The reverse shows the continuation of the crisply defined curls and elongated ears, while the neck terminates in a traditional break, indicating the head was originally part of a larger sculptural ensemble, likely intended for temple display or private devotion.
