A superb quality large celadon dish with high relief decoration, mid 15th. century, Sawankhalok kilns Thailand for the Chinese market. A very rare dish in this condition . The dish with a fine bluish celadon glaze of very high quality with detailed overall grazing. The dish is masterly decorated with incised geomethric patters of circles, waves and lines in relief on the fan and a fluted backside and the foot left partially unglazed within the foot rim exposing the buff body turned russet red during firing.
