Finely cast in bronze, the bodhisattva seated in dhyanasana on a lotus pedestal above an openwork lion throne, the right hand raised in abhaya mudra and the left resting upon the knee. The serene face framed by elongated eyes and pendulous earlobes, surmounted by a high foliate crown centered by a seated Buddha. The throne supported by two lions flanking a diminutive worshipping figure. The surface with extensive encrustation and malachite-green patina throughout.

The sculpture displays characteristic features associated with the bronze tradition of medieval Kashmir, including the elongated proportions, refined facial modeling, openwork throne construction, and the distinctive lion-supported pedestal. Particularly notable are the subsidiary figures incorporated into the crown and throne, as well as the surviving archaeological surface with areas of mineral accretion.

ancient surface with heavy burial encrustation, mineralized patina, and corrosion consistent with considerable age. The iconography, throne type, and casting style are all compatible with Kashmiri Buddhist bronzes of the 11th–12th century. The lion throne and crown with seated Buddha are especially strong indicators of a Kashmiri origin.
