The tall baluster-shaped vase is finely potted with a waisted neck rising to a gently flaring rim. It is decorated in overglaze enamels on a soft yellow ground with a lively continuous scene of elegant court ladies and attendants in a garden landscape. The figures are shown amid scrolling clouds, trees, and rocky outcrops, some playing musical instruments and others accompanying a seated lady in a wheeled carriage, suggesting a narrative scene of leisure and refinement.

The palette is dominated by delicate shades of green, iron red, and black outlines, characteristic of Kangxi-inspired famille verte decoration, here interpreted in a later 19th-century revival style. The reverse features further landscape elements with trees and cloud scrolls, creating a harmonious wraparound composition.

The base is unmarked.
